Pros

Lots of opportunity for growth Salary is competitive Plenty of trainings

Cons

The culture is dependent on your department or project. You can be transferred without much choice, and be offered hybrid positions, which is management’s way of adding more work into your plate without additional cost. This can easily put too much on your plate since no one manager is looking out for you, it can split your priorities, and can lead to lack of visibility, and burn out. Also, they value tenure when it comes to rewards and recognition. As a top performer of high achiever, this is not a good environment for you. And though there are many trainings, the sheer amount of deliverables keeps you from maximizing these learning opportunities.

Pros

Pays (some of) the bills. Role seems stable and secure.

Cons

Job can be monotonous and frustrating Inability to make big changes Company constantly virtue signals, while showing very little concern for real issues affecting their employees
