Pros

The health insurance Benefits are amazing, Diverse work place. Hiring process is easy when fulfillment center opens. They hire anybody as long as you can pass the drug and background test.

Cons

Long Hours and not enough pay for the work load. Management is unqualified. They are hired right of college and have no experience managing 20 people. No transfer opportunities, they tell you when your hired you can transfer after 6 months if you are in good standing with no write-ups. That is a lie exspecially if you are on the RT shift (reduced time). warehouse job was very physically demanding, you are on feet for a whole 12 hour shift. Breaks are short. Not a good place to advanced your career. They only promote under performing employees. That way the over performing employees stay in that role to help with their numbers and make the rate, etc.

Pros

They pay you wonderfully for the job that you'll be doing

Cons

They forget that their employees are humans and have accidents and have things happen in their life, then penalize them for missing days if a family member died or was sick. They won't work with military families.

Pros

Amazon is actually a great place to work. It requires a certain kind of dedication I feel is necessary in order to do the job right. There is plenty of opportunity to grow and advance within the company if one wants to.

Cons

Amazon is obsessed with rate and time on task. The warehouse environment is a fast past one that some will not be able to do well in. You need to make rate and stay on task with out any errors.
