Pros

Pay is better than similar companies. Technology continues to be interesting. Opportunities for travel and foreign postings if you want them.

Cons

Long hours. Lack of respect from leadership team. Complete lack of accountability in senior management (time after time their initiatives fail, yet it's always the little guys who get RIF'd). Core values only apply to the lower ranks, senior managers and up can ignore them with no penalty.

1. Great benefits - Medical, Dental, 401K, Vacation, Sick Time, PTO 2. Stable Company - Over 10,000 employees, 5 billion in revenue

Cons

1. Terrible accountability - Management is all about CYA and nothing about leadership and doing the right thing. 2. Management does such a poor job developing their managers, they end up not trusting them, and therefor restrict the managers' ability to make decisions and implement initiatives.

Pros

This used to be a great company. Compensation is satisfactory. First level management is good and recognizes good work.

Cons

Constant outsourcing. Constant fear of layoffs / lack of job security. Poor decisions by upper management. Inter-department finger pointing / competition. Too many duplicated efforts by different departments. Mike Splinter is in charge. Difficult to get promotion to the next level.
