Pros

Being an outsourcing company you have the opportunity to move to different campaign that can help your own development. There are some fantastic people working for Arvato.

Cons

The three core values for Arvato are proud, passionate and pioneering. Proud: Question would be proud of what, because the business has a massive lack of communication and constantly inter-department break downs with each blaming the other for problems. I certainly did not feel valued by the business. In fact I left the company with a bitter taste in my mouth and I have certainly been put off working for another out-sourcing company. Passionate: Company again seem to be passionate about making bad employee decisions, no real consistency in most things done. Seem to move problems from one campaign to the other instead of trying to look for solutions. We let people go because of problems and used those reasons for not taking certain employees on, but then because desperate take other employee's on with the same or at time worse problems than the people we already let go! This is fundamentally wrong and simply unfair. Pioneering: The only thing Arvato are pioneering at this current time is unhappiness within many of the campaigns, this is apparent by by Arvato's struggle to find staff. Then even more so with the ability to keep the good ones! There are so many small problems within the company that need fixing but in my honest opinion it is a hard one to tackle. There is a culture in the business of sweep it under the carpet and hopefully it will go away. At least that is how it feels. Payroll issues. Recruitment problems. Salary deficiencies. Lack of benefits. No bonuses. Poor HR support. Favouritism. Lack of consistency in disciplinary issues.
