Pros

- Being an offshoring hub for Arvato's German/European companies means opportunities to work on products and projects which are atypical of the Malaysian region. Sometimes the skills required can be niche, depending on circumstances the company hires candidates based on their willingness and openness to learn rather than existing skills (good for those who are less experienced or seeking a career change) - Flat hierarchy and lots of opportunities to speak - juniors and seniors alike. If you are vocal and can contribute your ideas then there are opportunities to grow fast in your career - No micromanagement - teams in Malaysia work directly with counterparts overseas on products/projects, management in Malaysia focus on staffing, performance evaluation and ensuring a positive working experience - Technology-focused company - pretty cutting edge tools and equipment for employees. - Flexible work arrangements, especially for those who are starting or have a family. Working from home is an option when needed - Pretty good perks and awesome office environment - Very diverse environment (about 30% expatriates) - if you value cross-cultural learning this will be a great place to work while making new friends

Cons

- Your experience working here can vary wildly depending on your team/your overseas counterparts. Some teams work collaboratively with overseas counterparts, while others work in a client/vendor fashion - Lack of micromanagement while being a good thing, also means it is up to employees to raise issues of concerns to local management before they become problems. Local managers are usually not involved in your day-to-day work and rely on feedback from staff and overseas counterparts for performance evaluation

Pros

Nothing good to say. Worst company.

Cons

- low pay, minimum wage. - Pay issues -racism - Harrasment from managers -Bullying - Drug culture - Majority of the workers are school drop outs and ages between 17 to 21. Its a school playground. Its like college. - They like people who don't question and say Yes to everything. - High employee turnover - Lack of resources and training - Lie to you about your job role.
