Pros

Soda machine in cafeteria and decent benefits (but you pay a lot for them)

Cons

Negative work atmosphere, lots of management with zero team building skill. Impossible to advance unless you kiss the butt of a lower management and decide to get into 'the circle'. If accepted into the circle; advancement is possible and you really do not need reasoning skills or business experience, but the pay is still not in line with similar jobs. The culture is very cutthroat and anything said or done can and will be held against you. Arvato in Pleasant Prairie is a job, but not a career.

Pros

Multicultural place Convenient location close to the city center

Cons

Very low salaries without an option for a raise. Any type of negotiations are quickly refused. No training. No recognition. No promotion. Here it all depends of who you know and not how you perform. Most managers got their positions because of their friends on even higher positions. So it created a circle of self admiration. Managers without management skills or people skills. They attempted "great place to work" once and because the results were at the very bottom, they never bothered again.

Pros

- You work with a strategic client. - The service you are delivering and product are interesting. - Good working relationship between management and staff. - Calm working environment.

Cons

- It's an outsourced project, very limited focus on training, development and promoting initiative and more on compliance with procedures and hitting targets. - Bonus structure doesn't reward overachievers. - Promotion is less based on performance but more on a succesful interview, which is conducted as if you're an external candidate. - Limited number of opportunities of career advancement ( internal openings).
