      Good place to start!

      Pros

      I join as Commerz Trade's Corporate Trainee, a 6 month program specifically made for new grads student. The program is well coordinated and I learn a lot regarding trade finance. The people are all experienced, nice and friendly.

      Cons

      Sometimes the trainee were treated like an intern which we are not, reason being the employees are not well educated about the program.

      Pros

      Some good colleagues helped to soften the continual disappointment employees face. In the UK office, there were OK facilities for employees to use and a reasonable HR function.

      Cons

      Ultimately doomed by the inability to restructure in Germany, due to an excessively strong worker's council, employees in other regions are sacrificed instead to meet the need for cuts. I would not advise anyone to consider working here unless you are sure you have a guarantee in writing of duration of contract.
