      Easy type of environment to work in but very German at the same time with high chances to get confortable.

      Pros

      Good work life balance Multinational presence

      Cons

      Although it is one of the most international companies in the world, Deutsche Post still remains under the old German post menthality. It is very difficult for any non-german native to move ahead in their careers. As any other big corporate organization, Deutsche Post is very rigid in their processes but at the same time the employees are way too protected by the worker's union that they tend to become incredibly lazy.

      Pros

      - Work/Life balance, most people leave sharp at 17:00 - Flexible working hours, you can come in a little later if you have a doctor's appointment - Adequate training provided, you can request to attend trainings if there is budget available - Proactive colleagues, will organise monthly meetings to share learnings from different product teams

      Cons

      - Stuck in the innovator's dilemma. Innovation is supported with words and hurrah, but not with resources - Caution is exercised to the point of standstill. Thereby leading to little implementation because of risk. Usability/ease of use of products are often sacrificed by wrapping it in layers of security. - Bureaucratic with many of approval layers, unable to test and fail fast. - Silos within teams, everyone works on their own thing. At times it doesn't feel like a team, people have no clue what others are doing. - Not much strategy, we do what is urgent today
