Pros

- Training opportunities if you seek them out - Decent time-off

Cons

- Salaries aren't competitive enough for amount of work you do - Horrible management - Completely useless HR -- they are really only there to cover the company and don't care about employees at all. Very similar to most of management. - Unsavory company practices -- if you have a conscience at all, this is not the place for you.

Pros

- Learn alot about current technologies - Hands on in all phases of the SDLC - Experience gives you a phenomenal resume - You have a lot of celebration dinners

Cons

- You never see friends or family - Have to work holidays (and do not get a bonus for it) - Project Associates do more than Consultants but get no credit or financial rewards - If you become good at something you are expected to work at all hours of the day to meet the projects needs - Baseline hours become 60 -70 hours a week - If you want a raise you have to threaten to quit or have a job offer - Attrition

Pros

Great team of people, some of the best and brightest. There is always someone in the organization who will help you excel. The benefits are top notch. This has been a great experience.

Cons

Sometimes it can be overwhelming trying to balance project work with firm work. They can be so big they firm can have you chasing your tail.
