Pros

Lots of energy. The team works very hard, but knows how to have fun. Very transparent path for promotion. Top reps can earn their way to the next role as fast as 9-12 months. Training is impressive right off the bat, with loads of resources and one-on-one coaching throughout your tenure. Exciting time to join the company - it's growing, still pre-IPO, and continues to be recognized as the standard in the industry.

Cons

No cons. This job isn't for everyone, but anyone can be successful here if they are coachable, willing to put in the hard work, and ask for help when needed.

Thanks for writing a review -- special kudos for doing it as a former employee. I think Mike Sheridan our new CFO has been a terrific add to the company and has set up all sorts of systems and processes on the planning and budgeting side. Hope you landed well in whatever you decided to do next. Best.

Pros

There is an incredible amount of support amongst colleagues on the team. Knowledge is shared daily, and you learn a lot from your peers. Management also works hard to provide campaigns for the team to supplement your own prospecting efforts.

Cons

You only learn from your peers and personal experience. Management does very little to provide training and development. The xDR teams are growing so fast that it extinguishes the culture that once was. Rapid growth looks great from the top, but really hurts morale when you're down at the bottom fighting to hit your monthly goals in a shrinking territory. Additionally, there are incredibly successful email sales tools out there for teams like this, yet they don't exist at DocuSign. At least one person complained about the email tool every day for six months. Nothing changed, so we were forced to continue down a path ridden with resistance. What's funny is that almost every day, we heard from management suggestions on how to be more efficient.
