Pros

Decent wage in comparison to a lot of places. A hardworking team that look out for each other

Cons

Some 600+ staff have left my site alone in the last 18 months. I've been there 20 yrs and morale never been so lo. Certain sites get a lot more investment than other. Cost cutting is leading to a lot of outsourcing. A senior management team that has very little clue as to the challenges we face daily and an I.T. structure that is not fit for purpose. As for career opportunities there's very few and those that are available have a ridiculous selection process

Pros

Unlike other energy companies in Germany, employees here are relatively young and very energetic. They are really smart people with full motivation to do something for their future, as well as the vision of the company. The building is fancy, canteen and cafe are truly great. Flexible with working hours and home office.

Cons

Super chaotic, unstructured like a small start up but with more than 700 employees. Constant changes in the organizations, mandates and responsibilities without a direction. Constant change of top management and it's direction so smart employees keep leaving the company while others stay frustrated without knowing what to do further.

Cons

Regular restructuring. However they do try to avoid compulsory redundancies.
