Pros

amazing company to work for with fantastic opportunities to develop, I started 10 years ago as a Customer Service Specialist. I worked on the phones for 6 years and in the last 4 I have secured 4 promotions... the latest being Meter Operations Workforce Mobilisation Training Manager!! great job title isn't it!! my favourite saying is "living the dream"

Cons

there are none... Eon are one of the few companies that give as well as take and definitely reward hard work.

Pros

Office environment and facilities Good mix of age groups, and experience , good people BUT..... Fair employer with standard corporate benefits, pension , holiday obligations of larger companies

Cons

More restricted choice of working hours/shifts. More restrictions on earning bonus More micro management leading to friction and mistrust between line managers and front line agents More processes and compliance which offer nothing to the customer but longer waiting times, which heightens the frustration of agent and customer Less real earnings, lost benefits, lost opportunity of bonus, loss of trust and faith in the leadership of the company, and loss of choice in chosen discipline, loss of job satisfaction. Increased pressure and still the same unreliable systems.

Pros

Many delightful names thought up for the same initiatives under different management. Close to Poundstretcher and Morrisons. Long term staff are brilliant. Friends for life. Good pay, salary sacrifice benefits and holiday allowance.

Cons

Micromanaged. Frequently asked to explain why you were 2 minutes over on toilet breaks for the day in front of the rest of the team. Priority on taking calls at the expense of everything and everyone else. Dreadful work life balance. Not uncommon to be told point blank no to taking emergency time off, for example if your child is ill. Asked to get friends or family members to do parents job. Disregard of disabilities and health problems. If your face fits culture. Blatant favouritism with management. Treated like naughty children.
