Pros

From my interview I just knew I had to come and work for Eon! The interview left me feeling extremely positive and excited. I ws elated to revied an offer and the onboarding experience was seamless. On my first day I knew I had joined a happy workplace with brilliant, welcoming colleagues. Eon is incredibly flexible, trusting and family friendly which is brilliant for those with young families. You are encouraged to bring new ideas to the table and are made to feel like part of a team. So far so good and I am so excited to see where my career goes here at EON!

Cons

A lot of systems to navigate and they are quite dated

Pros

Flexible working, recognition that family commitments sometimes need you to take time out of the working day, with freedom to make time up elsewhere if needed. Good cross-functional working. Supportive of neurodiversity and embrace diversity in the wider sense, ethical (from my experience so far) and making big steps towards sustainability. Good for bike commuting : clean/powerful showers/private changing facilities and a decently secure place to leave your bike. Approachable/expert leaders. Communication across constituent companies and teams less siloed/fraught compared to some previous workplaces. Personal development taken very seriously, both from performance management and investment in provision for training / mentoring perspective. Decent benefits package, including various salary sacrifice and free / money off schemes.

Cons

IT issues and their resolution can be a frustration sometimes, as with previous multi site places I've worked. Multiple cross company communication platforms to keep on top of can be frustrating - in some places this is a legacy of mergers, but here, a seemingly daft choice upon a restructure. Never been able to get a hub printer to work, encourages paperless working though!
