Pros

I work at one of the company's Starbucks franchise. We're entitled to 30% off our orders, as long as it's for personal use. I.E. you come in with some friends on your day off, you get 30% off the price of your coffee, but your friends have to pay full price. One free coffee a day (which is a bit insulting, when a cup of coffee costs next to nothing to make)

Cons

As a 'full time employee' the most I've ever worked in one week is 30 hours. Full time is generally 35-40 hours so how they can call this a full time position is beyond me. Very low pay - especially considering what other franchises pay their employees for the exact same job. Other franchises pay £1 an hour more - this quickly adds up come payday. Outdated uniform policy (no tattoo's to be on show, only blonde/brown/black hair allowed). Condescending and rude management that have no real skills to be in their position. Expected to be impressed when seeing 'big bosses' arrive in Audi's. If the company can afford Audi's for all members of senior management surely they can pay the people actually making the company money a better hourly rate. I generally feel not very valued at all.

Pros

If you love customer service your love the job roles, 99% support from other colleagues but sadly not much else.

Cons

From my experience the problems I have encountered is the greater support network. Sadly on many occasions the support from upper management is totally negative just thrown back in your lap every time you ask for assistance.

Pros

Easy Job Once you are trained correctly and when left to get on with it. Great if you are a peoples person. E S S O fuels Lincoln is a big company but a nightmare to work for

Cons

Management are clueless when it comes to your rights, its that or they just think they know better. If you become sick during your shift they expect/insist you remain at work without cover and finish your shift, also if you are ill they tell you that you still have to get into work regardless and cover your shift. If some one does not turn in for shift you are expected/made to cover until the next shift starts/turns in. I am aware of multiple instances where staff members have been made to cover 2 additional (8hr) shifts consecutively (24hr shift) not only that they were asked to do there normal shift as well so that would have made it a 32hr shift. Rotas are adjusted continually without staffs knowledge and only after a shift is due to start do you find out rotas were changed. This is not to bad if you live alone and you have nothing better to do, but if you have a family with small children and you work night shifts around your kids its a different ball game altogether. I would not recommend any one to work for this company, I am only here until i can find a better solution's They wonder why they have a high turn over of staff,
