Too competitive, to get a decent bonus, employees are pitted against each other Yearly appraisal, some employees have to get a low rating and it's not always deserved Career - for the above points, it's getting more and more difficult to move up the ladder, culturally some colleagues will work day and night to get higher rating and a promotion, making it difficult for people that like work life balance, to actually get ahead.
