Cons
Doesn't Recommend Negative Outlook Disapproves of CEO I have been working at Bertelsmann full-time (More than 3 years) Pros Had the opportunity to work on new technologies and some interesting projects which had an impact on an European scale. Cons the cons are far too many to even list: - the management is clueless, too short sighted and has no long term plan - too much political shenanigans and boot licking - no clear path for progress and the goals are mostly abstract - no training/workshops etc provided to help an individual reach those set paths/goals - pay well below the market level compared to the expected work and effort - no recognition of quality work and the effort put in to get projects over the line. - employees have absolutely no value in the company and the company truly lives by its "internal motto" : everyone is replaceable, be it an intern or someone who has worked for 10 years - no one works for the overall benefit of the group/company but only to meet their own selfish needs and career goals. those are some of the main cons though the list is endless to be honest.
