Pros

There is opportunity for advancement but seriously only if you move between stores OR are among the chosen few within your store of choice. Those who have moved up at my store are almost without fail the individuals who were least effective in their former positions. A regular, rotating corporate schedule for F/T employees is a plus. This affords full timers the ability to plan their lives because they will know their days off months in advance. The downside, your zone or admin manager may try to keep you off corporate rotation. Demand it.

Cons

The communication between senior management (including HR) and employees leaves much to be desired. The cheerleading BS at morning meetings does not qualify as real communication in my book. Recognition for jobs well done usually go unacknowledged or worse yet childishly and/or feebly rewarded. (e.g.- smiley stars on a bulletin board or $25 gift card for a 3/4 million dollar salesman of the year.) Very meager 10% employee discount.

Pros

Remote, great starting pay for entry level remote. Team environment was the best part of the experience.

Cons

Very limited to no advancement opportunities with pay increases that don't even match cost of living increases. No HR support and the culture reflects that... not a company that has any flexibility in the way employees are handled when they make a mistake it stacks and is not removes for a year. If you have three mistakes even if they are in totally different areas they will terminate even tenured employees with otherwise perfect records. Not a way to keep good employees.
