      Pros

      * you can learn a lot * competitive salary and benefits * easy to change team depending on your interests * interesting R&D job - not only "bug fixing" projects

      Cons

      * highly depends on a team * teams responsible for projects became too large it's very hard to communicate * high management decisions are sometimes very weird - it depends on low level managers whether they are able to hide them from developers and let them focus on the product

      Decent starting salary, good benefits, generous PTO

      Cons

      1% raises forever. Last promotion I got to Principal had no raise but a bump in bonus percentage. Now they are giving kids 8-12% raises and they have less than 5 yrs. Once you hit about 5 yrs you will get the 1% a yr and be pigeon holed into a specific job. Then good luck trying to change.
