Nokia is a hardware company that comes from market domination during the ´90 and beginning of 2000 and is now set to a low market segment, where hardware plays a very secondary role. Elop set a new strategy, but: - Thr machine is extremely slow to react - Senior managers are unable to lead anywhere - Political wars are the everyday standard, especially in Location and Commerce Unit - Forget about career, the senior management does not leave any free space for people below - Any decision takes ages to be implemented and will be reviewed constatly (there are projects with no product release at all after 3 years, but still existing!!)

The job was offered because no native was interested at that time. After joining, I saw that the treatment is too biased towards the foreigners. They can't communicate in English even if the company is Finnish. Technical discussions were always held in German. No one cares whether an English speaking person is able to understand. During the coffee discussion some AfD supporters even show up and shares their views why Germany is better without the foreigners.
