Pros
From day one I always viewed this as a self employed role and that I would ultimately get out of it what I put in. This has proven true. The bonus is that you’re not self employed! It’s ultimately a Business Development role. If you don’t like knocking on doors and just want a casual Account Management job then it’s probably not for you. There are many different elements to the job. However, if you bring in new business, manage yourself and learn your KPI’s then you can do well. We have very good quality products and numerous market sectors to sell them into which makes it easier. Personally I’ve always felt I had the support there when I needed it in the earlier stages but I’ve also always been given the freedom to get on with my job when I didn’t need it. Success brings freedom! I honestly can’t understand the negative reviews on here. As some people have pointed out (like most companies with a large fleet of vehicles) the cars have trackers. However, I’ve never once felt I was being monitored. To me it means I don’t have to worry about mileage reports and private mileage, because everything is worked out for you automatically. I don’t get why people get so hung up on trackers. If you are doing your job properly then what is there to worry about? Overall my career has definitely developed since joining Reca! I’ve always found it to be a good job and a fair company to work for and I would recommend it.
Cons
Nothing significant enough to mention.
