Pros

Exciting projects, depending on the department you learn a lot, international (many employees from all over the world). Great company to have it in your CV due to the level of awareness, especially when you are young. Great programs for young starters (get togethers, events, trainings etc). Salaries are over average.

Cons

In my personal experience, no five to nine job; regular overtime in a lot of departments; difficult to work part time; being sick or on vacation often demands to take calls or answer e-mails for time-critical or urgent requests, because usually there is no substitute available or knowledge management is poor (no time for documentation).

Cons

Contracted through Manpower Group - Low/Middle regarding Pay & Benefits for Contracted Recruiters - Unclear pathway for advancing to a Full-Time Employee with Texas Instruments - Contracted status Recruiters are vulnerable to layoffs during tough economy & hiring freezes - Forecasting for headcount & hiring goals across facilities was erratic and inconsistent
