      Pros

      Slow pace of work, flexible hours, job security.

      Cons

      Terrible, terrible benefits. Insurance is expensive in covers close to nothing until you hit the deductible which is incredibly high, or pay an insane amount to have the premium insurance. Parental leave is atrocious and borderline unethical. PTO is fairly limited unless you essentially pay to take two weeks time off unpaid. Upward mobility is extremely limited, salaries are fairly low and raises are minimal and there are absolutely no bonuses. Management actively says that they hear we are upset about things and chooses to ignore them because they claim that their benefits package is comparable in the market.

      Pros

      Health care is one of the best with a $600/$1200 contribution to your HSA if you're one one of the top 2 plans. Has a small contractor feel at times even though it's one of the bigger ones out there. I've worked with some really bright people and learned a lot from them.

      Cons

      Pay ranges from Average to Poor depending on which contract you're assigned to. It feels like upper management is more concerned with padding their bottom line rather than doing right by their employees. Had situations where the client site was closed for whatever reason and GDIT made it's employees eat PTO to not lose pay. That's a situation that should never happen. Especially when PTO is middle of the road at best for offerings. Leadership was afraid to take a stand against the client when they blindly changed processes making it harder to get and retain talent. We saw a 60% reduction in our team after the change.

      Pros

      I only work here because my company was bought out by GDIT. There are no pros.

      Cons

      They bought our company and took 5 days of leave away. They say Juneteenth is a holiday however they make you take leave for it. They give paid family leave however there are a bunch of rules and you’re lucky if you get it. No perks, career is not rewarding. Just work you like a dog. There is no appreciation for employees.
