Hi,
I would like to inform you about the kind of treatment I got after working so hard for 5 months at Getir.
*Buy as much you like, just don’t work at Getir*
I quit a week ago! And got charged after quitting.
- Had to ride in stormy, rainy conditions, with somebodies Getir fleece Jacket, and borrowed gloves (never got my personal kit) nothing else, at the end they charged me 50 GBP for not returning the jacket, even after ensuring I will at earliest and for resigning at short notice.
- I worked for 5 months (I wonder why), and I can swear I never got full 20 hours work shift. It was 16-18 in the beginning, got to 12 hrs, and they would allot literally 7 - 12 hrs a week every 2 weeks; so no shifts at all every 1 alternative week.
- Alway gave my best at customer service, with big smile (I have never ever got less than 5 stars, maybe once), it aways looked like a milestone to me and my colleagues but was just not great enough of Getir I guess.
- Always I mean always gave an extra hand in warehouse when not delivering.
- I worked my legs off on eco mode because our warehouse never had more than 3 working batteries at a time.
- Never got joining bonus or orientation pay which was promised.
- I truly believed the guy at orientation on how great it is to work there, he was trying to sell so hard. Believe me dude this company doesn’t deserve you.
At the end, I was informed that they were stopping bikes and had to find another job (they gave me grace time for that), so I did, still charged me for quitting at short notice (I mean how, why, what’s the rational for it?).
I have had 3 jobs since I came to UK, 7 months ago, never have I been treated like this.
Believe me everyone deserves better…
