      No work life balance.

      Pros

      Really friendly atmosphere and helpful friends. Nice physical environment. Getting real-time application experience. Getting domain know-how.

      Cons

      Small tech stack. Overworking, no work life balance. Slack, whatsapp never stops even at evening. You can be called on the weekend. There is no support team. They don't think to do that, it's not in their plan. That's why developers take turn do this during service hours. Including the weekend. Inexperienced and extremely young managers. When you ask this explicitly, they don't give a clear answer but they want you to sign a contract for have right on the codes you have developed, even if it's not for the company ( for example open source or your special project ). Terrible human department.

      They keep announcing new decisions everyday without taking any feedback. They take your rights away one by one.

      Pros

      Getir was a super nice place to work before, it was always demanding in terms of work and not good for everyone of course. There is no work life balance for an average salary which was okay because we were learning a lot.

      Cons

      Since 1 year -after the layoffs- a lot of qualified employees resigned because of the poor decisions. But Getir survived from those resignations. Now they think that they can survive anything, they started giving random decisions that hurt many of its employees. Every week we are hearing a new decision and no feedback is taken. No one is happy inside anymore, it is the worst culture you can see in a company. And they keep saying culture is very important. We don't have the culture values but what we have is gossip and bad talk about others. I can't even concentrate on my work any more.

      Sexism, homophobia and xenophobia. Self proclaimed’tech company’ but everything is manual google spreadsheets and slack messages. Out of touch senior leadership team. Double standards Unethical ways of saving money (i.e exiting 500+ couriers from the business in 4 days) Slow movement of projects Unapproachable colleagues Uncomfortable head office environment
