Very bad experience

Pros

Initially they were really nice. But after a month or so, that's when the summer almost began, they became really rude and impossible to work with

No safety equipments of my size were provided by the company. Everything was extremely loose and this was during the winter and when there were rains. I even got into an accident and since i didn't have proper kneepads or anything at all, and it was raining heavily, i fell down in the tram track and got hurt bad. And they kicked me out saying I took leave. Well, i had to because in contrary to what they've said in the contract, I WASN'T PROVIDED WITH ANY SAFETY EQUIPMENTS OTHER THAN HELMET!! And also, they started opening up hubs everywhere and cut out the tea, coffee and sugar for the riders in the name of COST CUTTING!! They literally opened 2 new hubs where there was already an existing hub in about 3-4 kms diameters. The people there are wonderful. The fellow riders, store keepers, etc. But the management, including the store managers and area managers and all, they're really really bad. And moreover, they terminated me on a call. I got a mail saying, you'll recieve a call to discuss about attendance and time keeping during your probation period. Nobody 'discussed' anything. He directly said, hey you're terminated, and when I asked for a reason, he said we don't have to give you a reason. And in the contract they said they'll pay my Health insurance. Legally they're supposed to. They even stated so in my payslip. But when i called my insurance company and asked, they said getir hasn't even given my name as an employee it seems. So now I've to go behind the lawyer, Getir and the insurance company to get my money back. Other than the amazing colleagues, nothing is good. Everything is bad. Worst management ever!!

-Bad pay -Franchising Everywhere so limited hours -Now restricted to contracted hours - Customer Services is Based in Turkey and not efficient. - Management/HQ care more about stats and statistics than their own employees. - Forget about having any problems outside of work, if they affect your punctuality HQ does not care. They gave me a final warning straight away with no prior warnings or conversations. - Health and safety is out of the window, insufficient training and maintenance of electric scooters. - You get picked up on about bad ratings even though customers give you 1 star for no reason sometimes. - Rubbish sick pay - Uniform is bad and will not really protect you as half of the zips don’t even work. -Cheap Chinese helmets that are just over sprayed with company decals. - Still awaiting summer wear, and it’s getting hotter. - Lack of managerial skills within the comany. -Poor equipment, the phones are mostly smashed and hard to use now. -Constant rule changes and shift changes at the top of a hat.
