Pros

Unlimited PTO starting Jan 1st - you’ll have time to find another company to wok for that will pay you for your hard work.

Cons

***No Holiday Bonuses!*** $4+ billion company can’t even write a thank you card? The competition down the street making less revenue can offer more...WOW! No career path guidance or vision. You’re only a number. Leads are dry and terrible right now. You will probably not hit quota as a new employee. Micro managers but not leaders. Only care about your numbers but won’t show you how to hit quota.

Thank you for your feedback on LogMeIn. As a company we find it important to create a wonderful place to work with compelling compensation year-round, like the new yearly bonus, not just end of year or at holiday times. We want our sales people to be successful and have invested in infrastructure to support them, including a new lead distribution system. In addition to a rep’s direct manager we have coaches and continuous improvement teams to help sales individuals to grow and find success, as well as a number of development offerings to help with longer term career growth. We encourage you to speak to your manager or the HR team to explore any of these further.

Pros

Good work life balance

Cons

Bad management LogMeIn is moving all eng effort to Budapest Extremely against innovation - work for zoom if you want they are winning over gotomeeting They run company like a bank with no value for employees It's all about stock holder value Toxic work environment Extremely poor performance review cycle Massive Exodus of employees in santa Barbara and Boston - do your research Massive hiring only in Budapest.. would love to see numbers on USA hiring vs outside usa Gotomeeting is all out of Budapest which is their flagship product

Thank you for your 5+ years with LogMeIn. We are glad you enjoyed the work/life balance. We are saddened that LogMeIn could not continue to live up to your expectations. LogMeIn was founded in Budapest and Budapest along with our offices in Germany continue to be a Central Europen Engineering hub. Innovation comes in many forms. One is how you innovate during a project. Another is the Innovation Labs department we continue to invest in every day. Any employee can submit an idea, and the Innovations team will work with that employee to bring their business idea to life. LogMeIn has three stakeholders, employees, customers, and shareholders. With our recent acquisition of Jive Communications, Budapest is one of many offices experiencing growth through internal and external career mobility. We wish you the best in your career. Jason

Pros

- Relaxed work culture - Great work life balance - Talented colleagues

Cons

- Too many reorgs - things change with no purpose whenever a new leader takes charge and that seems to happen way too often. - Top level management interferes too much in how development is done. Teams don't have individual control on choosing the right technologies to get the job done. - Useless architects in every team, who seem to have a lot of say without consulting tech leads or developers. - Toxic middle management that doesn't help with career development. - The company is not what it used to be when under Citrix, after merger with LogMeIn. - Management never addresses huge attrition rate. They just try to hire to fill those spots. New employees are confused and old employees are not motivated anymore.

We are regretful for your frustration with LogMeIn. We are approaching the 1-year anniversary of our merger and the past year was not easy. There is no playbook for combining two companies of our size, so we understand the some of the challenges our employees have expressed. Our organization makes changes to stay competitive with the market, and to allow our employees to do their best work. We know we did not equip our middle managers with the tools to lead their teams effectively in 2017, but that is an area we hope to change in 2018, bringing in of our first VP, Learning & Development. We recognize that it is hard to not compare our current LogMeIn to the previous companies in which our employees originated. For any concerns around business strategy, your Executive and team leads are your best resource to answer specific questions. Jason
