We’re happy you think our benefits and balance are top tier. As for your comments about our business, we understand the frustration that accompanies change. However, we disagree with your statement about our product care. Just this month, GoToConnect was named a 2022 Unified Communications Product of the Year award winner by TMC. Our products have been recognized with 2022 Top Rated awards from TrustRadius due to their high customer satisfaction ratings and reviews on the B2B software review platform. Across the board, products like GoTo Connect, GoTo Meeting, GoToWebinar, Rescue, Central and GoTo Assist were some of the highest-rated in their respective categories in the G2’s Summer 2022 report. We’ve expanded features for GoTo Resolve – Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) capabilities – and this month, announced that we acquired Miradore – expanding mobile device management and all-in-one integrated IT experience. We appreciate your feedback and commend your tenure, best of luck in your next endeavor!

Pros

Perks - Unlimited PTO, maternity/paternity leave

Cons

In a year and change, I had experienced three new bosses and teams, that says a lot. A lot of overturn going to Toast. GoTo (formerly LogMeIn) has been a mess with management and workflow since I have joined, especially web and e-commerce team. Low key micro managing. No real leadership. You get sold for the perks but the perks are not worth the stay. A lot of finger pointing and not taking any accountability. It is unfortunate because it was all good until the changes kept continuously happening and really left for no growth in the position I was in. It is no wonder why many people left and keep on leaving.

We’re sorry you didn’t have a better experience. We completely understand the frustration you must have felt. GoTo is a fast-paced environment, and change, of course, follows. So many employees at GoTo have long and successful careers and tenures here, and we’ll always celebrate them – even if they pursue other endeavors. Thanks for your review.

Benefits are good but it's a catch 22

Pros

The benefits are really great. - Flexible (remote, hybrid, on-site) as you wish. - Unlimited vacation - 6% match to your pension. - quarterly budget to buy books During COVID they gave a Friday off for Self-care. Not sure if they continued it Their operational process is fairly smooth, in terms of how outage are handled. There's a lot of focus on improving platform performance. The process for address outage is unique and fairly effective.

Cons

There is no alignement on vision and roadmap across product teams. So a lot of teams are just doing their own priorities. The ones who get promoted are the ones who have the best relationship with the top but not necessarily with the best leadership skills. Feature factory, churning things out as fast as possible but the value is not clear. A lot of focus on technical excellence and not enough on people who can actually coach their team and support their growth. Leads are often burned out because they need to lead and manage, they don't have the necessary tools and skills to effectively grow a team. They don't leverage scrum master and coaches very well, they are pushed to the side to do Jira and reports instead of helping build more high performing teams. Side effect, people just give up and do mediocre work. Layers of management, team leads, director, senior director. etc.

It’s true, we can proudly state that our benefits are more extensive than some may realize, like the budget for books perk that you mentioned. We are pleased to share that global monthly self-care days are still in practice and a necessity that we strongly believe in. We’re sorry to hear about the frustrations you’ve experienced. Yes, moving fast is one of our values, but we place priority in clearly communicating our strategy. It is through feedback like yours that we can continue to improve. Best of luck in your next endeavor.
