      Pros

      There are a large number of nationalities represented at HERE Technologies. Typically the people are bright and motivated. Work and roles tend to be arranged very meritocratically, and it's easy to move to a new role. I have been surprised by how many PhDs I've encountered randomly. The office facilities are very pleasant and centrally located in Berlin.

      Cons

      There's still occasionally some "not invented here" cases where an internal solution is preferred or developed instead of adopting an off-the-shelf solution.

      Pros

      Nice people, interesting tasks, you learn a lot about coding. Also, there is a gym, a sauna and an unlimited supply of coffee and tea.

      Cons

      Often had problems with the company's IT-infrastructure.
