Talented People, Challenging Direction

Pros

Strong colleagues and customers. Many talented people across the organisation who are collaborative and supportive of both teams and customers. Remote culture and flexibility are also positive aspects of the workplace.

Cons

Strategy can feel unclear and changes frequently, which can create confusion and make it difficult for teams to stay aligned. While experimentation is encouraged, priorities sometimes shift quickly. There can also be limited challenge to leadership decisions, which may lead to an “echo chamber” effect. AI is often positioned as a solution to many problems, but in practice it can introduce errors and inefficiencies. There is also a perception of increasing micromanagement that can reduce autonomy for experienced professionals.
