Good people, adequate work experience. Pretty much your standard big corporate business, as far as I could tell.
Pros
I worked at an office that had (at the time) recently been acquired by ITT. I did have a lot of opportunities to explore a variety of roles while I was there, largely through some experimental local programs that got shut down as the corporate entity continued extending control over the company. Good people; I cannot think of a single person I actually worked with there who I was not able to get along with and work productively with.
Cons
Progressively more and more of those good people left as time passed after the acquisition. I would not be surprised if none of the people I worked with are still there. When I was laid off, due to unavailability of compatible contracts, I was given zero notice. I did receive two weeks severance pay as compensation, but as anyone who has been in that position knows, it is much harder to find employment if you are not currently employed...as a result I spent several months unemployed until I was able to find another opportunity.
