      Pros

      - Great environment - Stellar management - nobody's perfect, but it's an inspiring and open place to work. Managers are accessible and speak openly (and listen to feedback). - Great benefits - Challenging and lots to learn every day (which is all I look for) - Massive objective mean there's a lot to do

      Cons

      - Changing plans make it difficult to stay on track sometimes - I see it as more of a learning opp and challenge.

      -Highly motivated individuals -Incredible work ethic -Amazing energy/vibe -Phenomenal learning experience -Super fun environment

      Cons

      -Hard work - Lightspeed is not a 9 to 5 work environment which is tough at times; however, people at Lightspeed are really committed to doing the best work of their lives and to building something great. When trying to accomplish the extraordinary, it's a given that we will need to go the extra mile...this already is the best place I've ever worked and I am so excited and proud to be a part of what we are building...

      Unique culture: hard working, humble, and fun

      Pros

      -Culture: People kick butt without thinking they're the sh*t. Rather than tolerate diversity, the company actually celebrates differences. They cherish everyone's special brand of craziness. -Empowerment: I really feel empowered to do my job. I know my boss trusts me to do the best thing for the company, pushes me to make decisions, and expects me to be the expert. -Results: We have raised a ton of money for a reason. The business is doing super well, and it's fun to be part of Montreal's best company (even the mayor agrees!). -Fun: After the hard work, and really long hours, Lightspeeders always find a way to have fun.

      Cons

      Of course there are things that aren't perfect 1) Hours are long. This isn't a place you leave at 5pm everyday. I've never been told to stay late, but the flip side of being empowered is being accountable. So I know that if I don't get my work done, others will be impacted. It's a lot sometimes. 2) Growing pains. Since I started a few years ago, the company has grown a ton. This growth is a ton of fun, but it's not easy. The hardest part is getting used to constant change (role, colleagues, and systems change a lot). Those that wouldn't like that won't like lightspeed.
