Pros

Better pay hourly vs. other area employers. Friendly sales associates. A great place to make life long friends. I've learned a lot of experience and different things. Mixing paint, making keys, cutting blinds, ect. Lowes alowes for the ability to learn new jobs

Cons

Unfair advantages/promotions. No room for advancement. Favoritism from management. Not enough money for the job done. Poor training and management support. Actions are not treated consistently. Random useless policies as well as lack of staffing make doing a head cashier job very difficult.

Pros

Competitive salary and/or hourly wages, benefits are good and available at a reasonable cost plenty of locations and they make it easy to transfer to another store as long as an opening is available. Human Resourse Department is easily accessible both in store and on line will work around personal life but only with much notice. Full time work available where as similar stores only offer little more then part time so little or no benefits need be made available relaxed atmosphere, laid back dress code I have little else to add I have not found many positives since I have been employeed there

Cons

Little positive feedback when called for reconizition seems to be saved for management but if there is a problem it is definitly made known, No matter how small it seem the managment will talk talk down to the "regular" employees as if they are not equals. Never a please or thanks good job. When requesting time off you need to put request it at least a month in advance which is sometimes inconvient when balancing work and life Due to these issues employee morale is down and I am sure it is noticed by the customers as little care is taken to ensure their satisfaction
