Pros

- Stability. - No pressure on numbers. - Easy sales for ISRs: sales are mainly transactional and order fulfilling. Field reps based in the local country offices look after the most complex deals. - Matlab is a programming language. Engineers learn how to use it at university, so they mainly know what they want when they place an order. - Honestly compensation is high enough, considering the low sales skills required in this role. The main skills needed in this role are: admin, organizational and sales support.

Cons

- The sales experience you gain here is not relevant to most IT companies . - Politics. Even if negative workplace politics is discouraged in the core values, you will find it. Management stick in the company till retirement, due to the low pressure, and have built their comfort zone around them. - Change is slow and discouraged . The main focus is to follow existing processes and changing them with new ones can be cumbersome. - Limited career opportunities.

Pros

Hybrid Schedule Excellent Co-Workers Many mid level managers genuinely concerned about the welfare of their teams Decent compensation and benefits

Cons

Senior management wants everyone in the office all the time To do any project you have to justify it to the ends of the earth regardless of how much the estimated cost of the project is. Management sacrifices the short (immediate) term needs for the much longer (3-5 years) plan. They ignore the fact that you need to support the existing infrastructure until you get the 3-5 year vision completed. Company values are applied and followed when its convenient. DEI people are not very accepting of opinions that differ from theirs. HR is not there to support the employee, they act as the police force for the corporation.

Pros

The leadership in the Natick office is very employee-friendly and genuinely cares about its workforce. Competitive salary and good career growth opportunities. The US office provides excellent amenities, including free breakfast and lunch.

Cons

The Bangalore office does not receive the same level of care as the Natick office. Poor quality of food despite multiple complaints from employees. No proper understanding of local challenges—Bangalore employees are mandated to be in the office three days a week despite heavy traffic issues. Work-life balance is affected as employees need to leave early due to traffic but are still expected to attend late evening meetings with the US team.
