      Great work environment if you are not looking for the quickest pace

      Pros

      Great work/life Balance. Focus on doing the right thing, the right way. Very nice work environment in terms of buildings, gym, etc... This is the opposite of a start-up environment -- it is stable, there is time to think and strategize. Nothing needs to happen now!

      Cons

      Things move slowly at times and you will find a lot of long-time employees who are satisfied with that. If you come from start-up land, be prepared for stability and a more relaxed pace. This may be a con for some.

      Good Work culture Good work Very popular products, as a developer you will have a feel great to work on products that have a huge impact on lot of customers in Scientific computing.

      Pros

      Nice people, quiet, respectful. It is a terrific environment for introverts. The work life balance is really pretty good. IF you like to collaborate it is a good environment, although it it not really an open culture. If you also would like your own office it is good place.

      Cons

      Not a great place for those who are excited by change. It has a very slow decision making process and almost everything you do is scrutinized to the nth degree in the pursuit of excellence. However actual accomplishment suffers as a result
