Pros

As a fresh graduate from grad school, I wasn't very sure about my interests. The EDG program helped me explore various teams within MathWorks and do projects with them. The guidance provided by managers are goal-oriented and directional. My fellow EDGers are smart and very helpful.

Cons

Due to COVID-19, my onboarding was done online. Though MathWorks did their best for us to have a positive experience, it would have been nice to interact with fellow EDGers.

Pros

People are willing to help. MathWorks value the employees. They make sure you are comfortable in your position and you can handle your duties, then they start giving your tasks.

Cons

Too much of trainings for the new employees.
