Pros

Good management team; Sufficient down time; Stable company with not a lot of layoffs lingering; Pretty good product to contribute to; Very good benefits and >50% 401k match a 100% of the time; Eventual growth. All in all, this is a great company to work for, if you plan to stay for at least 5-6 years, not a company that can grant instant gratification.

Cons

Pace to market is very slow compared to industry standards, since the product is still primarily a desktop product. Updates cannot be pushed at a brisk pace; Pay might be substandard for the first couple of years given that the Boston suburbs are pretty damn expensive; Behind the curve on industry standard in web services development; Products are not as diverse as one would expect them to be, however that trend seems to be changing fast; Changing teams not as easy as it should be.

Pros

Team was really cool. Manager was really good. Learned a lot during my internship.

Cons

Salary is very less for a location near Boston.

Pros

Private offices: collaborate with a co-worker on the whiteboard/computer without interruptions. People are nice, and there are no dirty politics. There's an kitchen operating for lunch everyday, so you never run out of options; food is not free, but cheap. There's a good gym; again, cheap. Work depends on the responsibilities you choose to take.

Cons

The software is pretty ad-hoc, and people add their broken knowledge to the mess. Certain processes are inefficient, and cannot be changed. Salary doesn't go up very much, and people depend on their bonuses. There's quite a bit of hierarchy and upper management does not know the ground realities.
