Managers, especially in Customer Care lack the skills to provide better structure to its processes. Team members are evaluated by middle managers subjectively instead of an objective way. I got a low score just because I don’t express my dissatisfaction towards the Vendors, this is absolutely not my leadership style, I believe a diverse leadership styles can be present and be acknowledged in the work environment. Managers are also closed minded to their own former experience although the strategy is no longer working in current setting. Too much politics, we were informed that there will be no promotion or salary increase for 2024 but there had been promotions towards people who are close or friends with the management. People invited to workshops and just selected, although there are many other members who are enthusiastic and motivated enough to participate, chance was not given. Customer Care hired or promoted people to managers who are not well-experienced to manage or develop a team, there is lack of guidance and direction, simply chaotic. Just this year, we were informed that some roles are only until Expert level and is not defined to move up to management level. Therefore, another lack of opportunities and growth in the company.
