Pros

Benefits were exceptional. Health benefits were great, $1000 lifestyle budget that applied to a number of different items. Met some great people.

Cons

Awful management, HR is useless (to be expected, that’s everywhere), work life balance isn’t great (but I think a lot of that depends on what team you’re on). Low pay, overworked with no growth titles.

40% off New Balance shoes, free parking. Some of the employees are cool.

Cons

Company culture is very much an old boys club. Office looks sleek externally but is always messy with boxes making it difficult to get around. No free coffee or food or anything provided for employees. Office wifi is very slow. Promotions are only given to those that are close buddies with senior leadership. Diversity is scarce and company culture does little to address constant microaggressions. Also terrible work/life balance, your constantly asked to do job related-tasks on weekends.

Pros

Great coworkers, generous bonuses when we hit milestones, work/life balance is flexible. My boss is very supportive and it’s an exciting time to be working at NB in the industry!

Cons

It’s common for other tasks in the company to spill onto your plate so you need to protect your work/life balance at all costs. No salary adjustments to inflation have been made across the company. Disappointing when everyone I know working in the private sector and the government has received an inflation adjustment on their salaries and I’m over here cutting back to pay for the essentials. I’ll update this section if any changes are made.
