Pros

Fast promotion and huge opportunities because of their growth are the biggest and best pro's in Qualtrics. If you want to go fast (and alone), apply here. There are possibilities to go far and together but the fast-paced environment in this company is more suited for an ambitious lonely wolf.

Cons

Strict in guidelines and targets which can make it hard to get non-core related activities and achievements acknowledged. Plus, the competition can be fierce, which might seem as a con for some.

Thanks for your feedback. We appreciate you pointing out the promotion piece, as that is important to us. Over 1/3 of the company was promoted last cycle, and we are proud of the growth of our employees. We are consistently driving better internal usage of our platform in order to raise the bar on our Employee Experience and are committed to continuous improvement.

Pros

1. These folks really know how to apply lipstick on the pig. (e.g calling themselves XM when its really a survey company) 2. Probably good brand to have if you are looking for jobs in Utah

Cons

1. its becoming more political 2. Mostly sales driven so anything to meet quarterly revenue...Rest of company is slave to sales 3. In IPO prep mode so no real innovation (basic strategy is keep blowing the XM bubble till and then half management will leave and then innovation will kick in) 4. IPO will continue to get delayed since CEO does not want to lose control

Pros

- Surrounded by some great people - Lots of autonomy - Free food, good swag, solid company parties.

Cons

- Mismanagement of sales talent has led to a shortage of experienced mentors and team leads. - Bad product-market fit in the SMB market where most new AEs will focus their efforts. - Marketing doesn't contribute much in terms of leads. They are mostly focused on events. - Really bad SFDC data. Lots of territory changes. Rules of engagement (how leads, accounts, or half-baked deals are distributed) are murky and ill-enforced. - Sales training leaves a lot to be desired. Ramp time for new reps is really high. - The culture can be culty. - Inconsitent HR practices.

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate the points you’ve made. We care deeply about developing our people, and are consistently making investments to improve employee experience. For sales training, we are always iterating based on feedback we receive and your feedback is helpful to us in that process as well. One important note is that we recently hired John Zorich as head of US sales training and hired Fiona NicChoiligh in Q3 2017 for the same role, but in EMEA. Again, thank you for making time to share your feedback.
