Pros

Part time with very understanding senior management. I was able to work around my schedule which made it very convenient.

Cons

Some downsides were repetitive tasks and lack of direction. I would have preferred to learn more with my position with RBC.

Pros

The financial benefits and competitive salary (locally) headline some of the best reasons. Most benefits will improve with each progressive year and our rights as employees are observed. Opportunities for training in present areas of expertise are available to all employees and externally at local universities, based on specific conditions being fulfilled.

Cons

Autonomy and authority for line managers are restrictive, Display of initiative is not condoned. Transparency in career advancement is lacking.
