Pros

Friendly staff and customers, lots of training relatively easy duties with the ability to continue learning constantly great experience

Cons

When it is dead and no work to do for a CSR you can only read RBC literature, which gets a little old after a while. Sometimes very rote, boring As a mobile CSR it was very frustrating to be on call because the shifts are often in the middle of the day and you can't make plans. Often difficult to get more hours if you need them.

Pros

Opportunities to grow and succeed in your field, company has a clearly understood focus for each division and department. Salary and Benefits clearly defined, with annual bonus. Employees are treated with respect and work in a comfortable environment.

Cons

Dominant focus for nearly every job is increased sales targets and cost reduction - employees are constantly asked to do more, with no corresponding increase in resources or salary. Increased sales or production in one year simply leads to additional demands for the following year.

Pros

Excellent partners and co-workers. RBC has one of the best educated people in the industry. Excellent talent acquisition and employees have great work ethic. You will make some great friends here and grow yourself personally and professionally

Cons

Unable to retain good hard working employees. Compensation structure is one of the worst in the industry If you're looking for a promotion, apply to a different bank. RBC likes to hire from outside and will over look you no matter how qualified you are.
