Working at Reply is an exercise in frustration and disillusionment. The upper management – particularly the executives – are embarrassingly awkward, devoid of charisma, and staggeringly arrogant. There is no discernible vision or strategy, just top-down directives handed out for company top management to follow blindly. The managers themselves are, in many cases, competent and well-intentioned, but they are routinely disregarded and undermined by an executive layer that refuses to listen or evolve. The result is a culture where talented people are systematically ignored until they inevitably leave. Reply has a serious retention problem, and it’s not hard to see why – the best staff get tired of the politics, the inertia, and the sheer unwillingness of leadership to make necessary changes. If you are not particularly ambitious or simply want an easy ride, you might find Reply an acceptable place to work. But if you are driven, talented, or have aspirations for a meaningful career, avoid Reply at all costs. It is a toxic environment that will drain your motivation and stall your professional growth. Joining this company is, quite frankly, career suicide.

The way Reply operates is by having smaller companies within a larger organization compete against one another, with minimal collaboration or knowledge sharing. There is a severe lack of work-life balance, with an unspoken expectation to work beyond contracted hours—including weekends—not as an occasional request, but as a regular demand. Management often resorts to intimidation and threats of job loss to push employees into delivering unrealistic goals and projects. There is a noticeable pattern of partners frequently altering client requirements without involving the client, seemingly to drive up costs. The company’s primary strength appears to be selling unrealistic dreams—often presenting basic tools, like a glorified ChatGPT, as sophisticated AI assistants. Many in management, including engineering managers, contributed little to no value, often clock-watching and lacking the technical expertise needed to support their teams effectively.
