Hello, Thank you for sharing your feedback here on Glassdoor. We are glad to hear that you are happy with your benefits at Bosch. Regardless, we regret reading about your dissatisfaction. At Bosch, it is our priority to create a work environment in which our associates feel motivated and supported in doing their work. Therefore, we consider not only a good remuneration but also further career opportunities and supportive management to be very important for our working culture. There are numerous initiatives and projects, management training courses and measures to further strengthen the Bosch culture. As a Bosch associate, you get the opportunity for growth and development through further education and training. For example, through the Bosch Training Center, you can explore a wide range of topics from “artificial intelligence” to “intercultural cooperation”. Moreover, our managers are trained to provide their associates with the best possible support in professional and personal growth. If you feel like you do not receive sufficient support with your professional and personal development, please talk to your supervisor or your HR contact to directly address this problem and find a solution together. Your feedback helps to realize a positive change. Thank you! Your Bosch Career Team

Pros

- great company - you can talk to anyone, flat hierarchies, everyone (across teams and countries) helps each other - I want to highlight that this job was in Japan. Due to the general openness of everyone, I know several foreigners that say they will either work at Bosch or nowhere in Japan (flat hierarchies, being able to say your opinion and shape your own job, not that much racism) - managers very open to you learning new things, getting job responsibilities that you are interested in, also easy to move teams

Cons

- the work load is highly dependent on your client or team. If you should have a good one, it's great. Not naming names, but if it is one specific one, it would not be uncommon to have 40-60 overtime hours a month as a regular employee, 100 as a manager. - I believe the salary might be a bit lower than if you were working elsewhere (however, genuinely, did not mind as the working conditions were great and the people awesome) - If you are a woman: there seriously are not that many on the technical side (so much so that the factories partially do not have toilets for women. You have to find a park nearby.), though management seems to have made a conscious decision to hire more in 2023
