Sinking ship

Pros

- Good working environment (nice looking office areas, nice yard, modern campus, clean everywhere) - Well maintained campuses and buildings (everything looks great) - Great canteen food that is even supported by the company so it is cheaper than eating out - Generally smart and talented people, many of them speaks 2 foreign languages fluently (hungarian+german+english) - Good enough salaries

Cons

- the whole automotive industry is a sinking ship nowadays, so the athmosphere is not so great. The fear of China is an everyday topic. - high workload - stressful - lots of time consuming and irritating useless mandatory trainings - rigid mindset of those people who work here for a long time: they can work only by rules and rigid boundaries, this is how they were socialized here - how things are generally done in various positions are clearly written down - people expect you to work like that description but besides the useless trainings nobody treins you for this. - they talk about work-life balance but people work way too much here, many of them doing a lot of overtime - overtime is not entirely paid anymore
