      Pros

      Pros are; -Excellent pay -Great flexibility -Good training / academic benefits -Good healt benefits -They will find a place for you should the contract end -Good work/life balance

      Cons

      -There is no definitive path for advancement, you have to eat what you kill -Many of the contracts are long standing and once you become an integral part of one its hard to get out / get on another project -Much of the senior management has no experience working anywhere but SAIC

      Pros

      A very good company with a solid track record. Company welcomes back former employeees and may give them a leg up on the hiring process. SAIC is good in helping find a new position, however, it may not be at the same salary and it is up to the employee to be proactive. If you sit around and wait for a hiring manager to call you, the call may never come.

      Cons

      Like all jobs in this industry it is subject to having the contract not be renewed. The pay is a little lower than some other companies and may also vary among locations, however, it really depens of the employee and what he can bring to the firm.
