SAIC...good place to work.

Pros

Good concern for the professional development of the employees. Salary level was good for me and my colleagues and I think the profit margin on labor for my contract was relatively low (this is an anecdotal observation and not one based on experience or fact).

Cons

Lack of training funds for non-college courses; personal time off (PTO) used for both sick and vacation leave (although this is pretty much an industry-wide condition).

Pros

Good projects and good processes within the company. Good place to work for a long term career. I would recoomend it.

Cons

Management is out of touch at times, hard to get info from top management, communication could be better at the team level

Pros

--Nice benefits --Free online courses, books, and certification training through company website (Good for Tech/IT) --Leadership program available --Name recognition within the industry

Cons

If you work on a government site you're disconnected from a lot of what happens on the corporate side. Contracts can change/end abruptly.
