Biggest pro... lots of work and lots of contracts if you need lateral movement or a program ends. Decent benefits if you are corporate or corporate-adjacent. Corporate employees do have a different fringe level.

Cons

Do not believe when you are told corporate culture surveys, or any surveys are anonymous. I was questioned by SAIC legal about a corporate culture survey, asked about my opinions, why I had them and was laid-off two weeks later. This was after 4+ years as an employee with good-great review periods, happy customer interactions and great coworkers. When I asked why they questioned me, legal told me there was no true entitlement to anonymity, as I was doing the survey on a corporate asset and the SAIC domain.

Not many to go off of.

Reported harassment and discrimination from a lead on a project and was unfortunately removed from the project and had to work towards finding a new one luckily I did find a new role within the organization but I was forever haunted by the fact that immediately after reporting to my manager and HR of the harassment and abuse I dealt with from a team lead that I was taken off the project and all blame was placed upon me.During that period I was placed onto a leave without pay and forced to have to dedicate all of my time to find a new project when I was doing so well and producing amazing progress in my project I was already in.
