Pros

Good learning experience. Interesting programs.

Cons

Management hires you on in to fill a minimal category (i.e. warehouse associate) then puts you in a position with much more responsibility. Makes promises they can't keep in terms of salary. Tons of nepotism, which results in more work on the underpaid experienced folks. Bad gig all around.

Pros

Good, pay, benefits and their are some good people that are genuine and decent.

Cons

They really do not care about anything but their bottom line and ability to just make money. Like most government contractors. The company is at mercy of government control. Everyone is disposable. If your comfortable with that then your in the right place. When it comes down to it. No matter what they suck up to government, at any cost. They have a big dose of karma coming.

Pros

Pay is in line with most comparable positions in the area and government contracting. health benefits suck, like other contractor companies, SAIC is cutting into heath benefits to ensure they don't pay anymore and pass it to the employee, at a mere 600 a pay period for family and probably half that for single, OH and your deductible is around 3K and you have to pay the entire amount until this amazing health plan kicks in 70%.... Deplorable!

Cons

When a manager consistently speaks with derogatory language and treats people with little respect, how the heck are the employees suppose to feel?!?! To be frank, this guy has no real function other then to lie to the government and his own PM. BUT they know he's like this and refuse to do anything about it, therefore the regular employees are left to deal with this derogatory manager.
