Pros

Starbucks is a decent place to work if you're going to school, can only work about 20 hours a week, and need health insurance. Free drinks when you work and a free pound of coffee a week! Get to meet a lot of really cool people... and some not-so-cool people.

Cons

Crabby customers. Ridiculous, loud, and messy teenagers. Lines to the door when there are only 2 people scheduled to work. Having no manager for a month and (being a shift supervisor) having to run the store pretty much on your own without getting the monetary compensation for it. Upper management often neglects to praise stores for work well done and always focuses on whether or not your store made more money that week than the year before.

Pros

The culture, people, some good benefits

Cons

Lack of focus - too many groups doing too many things by fire and poorly, instead of doing just a few things, really well.
