Pros

the only benefit I would say is the money but only is you are bilingual or for a young person to save money for a better career at college as I did

Cons

management/ very poor and unqualified. management they would screw you up if you complain about their behaviour of if you not agree with their unprofessional attitude. the hours are the worst, sometimes you can work early shift and other weeks night shift, which make it difficult to have any kind of relation outside the work. the sneaky actions of uneducated and management who drop school at 16 years, they are keeling the nature of the job by their sneaky actions. they would highly prefer to work with people who are related to them, so if you are not very well know in Waterford or does not have any referral , no worth try unless if they are really desperate to hire bilingual hostile environment where gossip and bad attitude are highlighted every second. Very sad and ugly faces all around the office. seriously, you will see all kind of people there that you never imagine, physically and mentally

Pros

Not many other than a regular paycheque

Cons

Burdened by cumbersome processes - unable to be responsive Creativity is discouraged in favour of these processes Salaries are not competitive - compensation practices are outdated (annual review and rating process which is subjective) Many leader across the organization have gotten to their positions through longevity and not through any real accomplishments Rampant abuse of budgets through the sales teams Use regulatory environment as a shield to control advisors Waterloo full of employees who have never worked in any other environment and likely couldn't Absolutely shocking toxicity amongst teams

Pros

New office Some great people Work from home

Cons

Toxic culture in corporate communications Head of department is young and plays favorites - saved one toxic director after she was abusive to her team and did not protect another excellent director from an abusive AVP AVPs lack accountability and leadership skills - targeting and bullying people and throwing people under the bus to save themselves, lots of drama and cattiness and lying Mismanagement of talent - high turnover and medical/stress leave
